The Role:
Develop prototypes, design software interfaces and handle all code related tasks (in a combination of supervisory and hands-on role). Much initial work will be based in large part on updating and improving legacy code;
Generate ideas to improve system design and streamline product delivery, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction, sales, and profits;
Author technical and training documentation needed by developers, business analysts, and IT staff;
Oversee testing, gather and act upon feedback from pre-release testers;
Use knowledge and experience of talent management best practices talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, professional development, and workforce planning;
Participate in software code reviews, and review/repair legacy code; and
Develop, maintain and adhere to project schedules.
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
Minimum 8 years experience software development;
At least 3 years experience with VB.Net;
Strong knowledge of C#;
SQL Server (2012 or new);
Experience with infrastructure, including network, storage, and servers will be highly desirable;
Strong knowledge of project management; and
Minimum 3 years of management experience and strong leadership skills that will drive high performance and instill trust and credibility with end users and team members.
