Description

The Humboldt District Hospital Foundation is a charitable organization that fundraises to support equipment purchases for the Humboldt District Health Complex.  We are searching for a permanent part time Executive Director Assistant to join our team!

About this position:
The Executive Director Assistant will provide support and work closely with the Executive Director.  The job-holders work includes accounting, charitable tax receipting, assist with event planning, fundraising and provide administrative support at meetings.

The position offers a minimum of 28 hours per week however may increase in peak times.

MAIN DUTIES
Develop knowledge and maintain knowledge on charitable organizations.
Provide and maintain positive relations with current and potential donors, volunteers and health care workers.
Lead on the administrative aspects of day-to-day operations (banking, accounting, meeting minutes, filing)
Maintain donor database.
Respond flexibly and actively to evolving priorities and needs.
Occasional out of hours/weekend working will be required, with time off given in lieu of hours worked.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Adhere to confidentiality and privacy policies.
Ability to work independently or part of a team.
Positive attitude
Experience with Quick Books Online Accounting
Willingness to learn Income Manager Online Charitable Tax Receipting Program.
Computer proficiency with MS Office and database management.
Valid Drivers License
Provide Criminal Background Check
