Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Portfolio Planner to lead our aligned technology and applications strategy across our product lines.  Effective portfolio planning requires a humble curiosity, and the desire to fully understand market and customer dynamics.  This is a unique, ground floor opportunity to shape the vision for Brandts technology integration efforts for years to come.


Duties

Collect, Analyze and Interpret Market Data from brochures, websites, dealers, customers, trade shows and industry publications.
Understand key industry trends and how they will impact customer and dealer needs.
Identify current product gaps, weaknesses.
Develop and prioritize ideas for new products across various product line.
Develop a long term Research & Development plan for technology integration.
Plan and help deliver the go to market plan for the launch of new products and applications.

Required Skills:


We require a candidate who has the ability to develop strategies for new applications, machine software, telematics integration, and hardware development for use with both current and future Brandt products.

The ideal candidate will have:

A passion for equipment and technology with the ability to articulate customer needs
Experience in at least one of the following areas  direct use of technology products, sales, design, and/or customer support.
Advanced creativity and problem-solving skills, in addition to negotiation and influencing skills and behaviors.
High technical acumen.
Proficient knowledge of database software, and computer application systems
Excellent organization & communication skills  written and verbal
The ability to work with all levels and departments in the organization
Demonstration of business and product financial metric understanding.
The ability to travel 1 week per month if necessary.
