Community Support Worker - Saskatoon
CBI Health Group is hiring Community Support Workers to service clients in the Saskatoon area. The CSW will provide assistance to clients with development disabilities/mental illnesses who require assistance with community interaction, personal goals and homemaking. The younger adults will have possible behavioral concerns and the CSW will ensure their safety and their well-being in the community. Our clients can range from a wide variety of ethnic cultures and different age groups who will be cared for in a residential care setting.
We are currently seeking staff that can work Casual and/or Full-Time shifts that includes days, evenings, weekend and overnights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
> A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search that is valid within 3 - 6 months
> Experience working with youth and adolescents
> Food Safe Certificate
> Experience working with clients who have challenging disabilities such as Autism, ADHD and behavioral issues, considered an asset
> Current First Aid/CPR level C certification
> Non Crisis Intervention certificate, or equivalent
> Valid Driver's license preferred
> Reliable transportation and proof of Auto Insurance
> Dedicated to providing the highest quality of client care
> Have excellent oral and written communication skills
> Passionate about your profession
> Have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to work independently
> Empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with younger adults
