The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. - EGADZ requires individuals interested in a Full Time Overnight Crisis Worker Position for our My Homes  Youth Housing Program. EGADZ is an inter-agency, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for hard to serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
Responds to the demand of emergency situations and crisis as needed
Provides crisis intervention, support and assistance to clients and other staff members as needed Develops safety, prevention and client engagement plans as part of a care team
Basic crisis counseling and follow up
Assists with regular operational duties
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in the human services field, equivalent experience or a combination of both
Current First Aid and CPR
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an asset
Current Criminal records Check including the Vulnerable Sector
Strong knowledge of mental health, addictions and poverty related issues
Ability to work shift work, nights and weekends.
Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license that reflects a safe driving record - A Driver's Abstract is Required (Within 3 Months).
