Bluewave is looking for a reliable Gasfitter who will be responsible for safely maintaining and completing propane installations and plumbing on the Propane fleet, and commercial and residential equipment. Relocation support is available.
Key Gas Fitter Responsibilities:
Maintenance of propane tanks, vessels, and vaporizers
Commercial and residential propane hook-ups
Administrative duties such as ordering parts, completion of work orders and invoicing, and assisting with shop related duties
Occasional assistance at other branches will be expected and may require overnight travel
Other duties as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Journeyman Gasfitter certification
Class 3 License would be an asset
Crane ticket is an asset
Previous experience with propane is an asset
Knowledge of CSA B 149 Gas Codes is an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude
Willingness to learn
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven leadership ability
Must meet physical and medical requirements, pass substance abuse screening, and agree to random substance abuse screenings as required by Company Policy
