SST TRUCKING is a Flat deck Carrier based in Saskatoon, SK with a second dispatch office in Brandon, MB. Our service area is Western Canada (MB, SK, AB, and BC) and our focus is on open-deck work. We focus primarily on FTL, but also do LTL, and over dimensional loads. In 2018 we started running in to United States.
We are a family owned business, started in 2008 with one truck and trailer. Today we run a fleet of 50 Trucks and trailers. We are one of the fastest growing trucking company in Western Canada.
We are looking for an energetic, experienced sales person with a desire to grow with us, to join our team. We provide excellent salary with bonus and Health and Dental Benefits.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
Effective presentation and negotiation skills
High degree of professionalism
Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing accounts.
Build relationships with potential new and existing accounts to grow & retain business in Canada and the US.
Creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology.
Preparing presentations and delivering to prospective clients.
Maintain accurate customer files.
A solid network and client base to call upon and demonstrated success selling in a 3PL, brokerage environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to resolve problems in a timely fashion.
Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Windows environment are key to succeeding in this role.
Provide activity results weekly.
Receive and make phone calls/emails concerning the services provided to current or potential customers.
