You will learn about our innovative product line which will lead to selling this product to an existing customer base as well as developing new customers. Based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, reporting directly to the Product and Services Sales Manager, the Sales Intern will be responsible for increasing customer loyalty, assisting the outside sales team with processes, quoting and support. This internship will be focused on general line equipment, general construction product and product support.
Major Job Functions:
Research, identify, qualify and prospect new opportunities within existing customers
Assist the branch sales force with demos, job studies, open houses, trade shows
Work closely with product support sales force and perform coverage for traveling sales people
Assist in the preparation of sales and service quotations
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational, time-management, interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Industry knowledge, Caterpillar or competitive product knowledge will be considered assets
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary education in marketing or sales is an asset
Note:
A recent driver's abstract is required
Some travel may be required
The successful candidate will have to reside in the Saskatoon region
Primarily focused on the increase of market share in BCP Equipment in the Saskatoon, Tisdale & Prince Albert Region
