As Project Coordinator, you will provide a high standard of Project support and Office coordination for Commercial construction work including new builds, tenant improvements, renovation and restoration projects in Saskatchewan.
Based in Regina, Sask and reporting to the Project Manager, you will:
- Complete project paperwork accurately and as assigned, including schedules, budgets, purchase orders, invoicing and other contract administration documents.
- Be involved in building projects from pre-construction to final completion. Monitor project performance and complete daily project worksheet procedures.
- Communicate professionally and develop strong working relationships with the management team, employees, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Create project files and bid invitations for trades and suppliers. Tender drawings to subtrades and collect bids.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of construction systems, processes and science, while being exposed to all disciplines of commercial building projects.
Education
- Technology Diploma i.e. Architectural, Buildings, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, demonstrating a knowledge of building construction and the working relationships between disciplines and trades.
Experience
- 1-2 years of relevant project coordination experience, supporting a Project Manager.
- Excellent communications (verbal and written), relationship building and customer service skills.
- Able to respond and adapt quickly and confidently to meet the needs of clients, subcontractors, etc.
- Enjoys a challenge, has strong work ethics and is driven to career growth and contributing to a successful organization.
