TG Watch is currently looking for a Steel Prefabrication Operator. Reporting to the Shop and Production Manager, this position involves preparing materials for production, quality control, and production throughput.
Duties:
Accurately cut and form steel parts for welding production using a CNC plasma cutting table, sheer, and brake
Organize steel sheets and structural steel in work area. Assist production by occasionally welding.
Perform regular component quality checks to meet design standards
Proper setup and ensure equipment is maintained and in proper operational order
Qualifications:
Experience with industrial metal forming equipment- CNC plasma cutting table, brake, sheer.
Experience reading blueprints and part drawings.
Experience operating forklifts, other equipment operating experience is an asset.
Self-motivated, goal and team oriented
Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and dedicated
Ability to work safely, with accuracy, and promote safe work practices
Excellent verbal and written communication
As a condition of employment, a criminal record check will be required.
Welding experience with MIG considered an asset
