HMCS QUEEN, Reginas Naval Reserve Division offers part-time and full time employment as part of the Royal Canadian Navy. We are an excellent opportunity for students looking to supplement their income during the school year where we work Thursday evenings as required and 2 Saturdays/month, Sept-Apr. We then offer full time employment during the summer months, May-August. There is also obligatory service.

Naval Warfare Officers manage and direct the maritime strategy, tactics, and procedures in the operation of ships, submarines, aircraft, maritime sensors, combat information, and weapons systems.
    Command, coordinate, and control military maritime operations
    Lead and make decisions that will affect the general conduct of operations and ships crew security
    Provide expertise relating to the exercise of sea power
    Direct and conduct strategies, tactics, and procedures in the operation of ships, submarines, aircraft, maritime sensors, combat information, and weapons systems
    Provide input into the design, procurement, and evaluation of ships or systems

Minimum requirements to apply online:

    Be 16-56 years of age (parental consent required under 18)
    Be a Canadian Citizen
    Must have or currently be pursuing a baccalaureate or masters degree in any discipline
