Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
* Housekeeping of department, ensuring it is organized, clean, and provides a safe working environment.
* To be responsible for following standard rotation of products
* To scale, mix, bake, finish, and decorate in accordance with approved company procedures and standards following standardized formulas.
* To load/unload ovens as per approved procedures and standards.
* To consistently ensure sufficient quantity on hand to meet customer needs without producing more than required.
* To be responsible for training all existing and new bakery techniques, as directed by the Manager
* Ensure proper storage of all ingredients, supplies, and baked goods.
* Handles product to ensure damaged and markdowns are limited.
* Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bakery equipment and utensils each day.
* To follow all cleaning schedules as per standards.
Qualifications:
* Previous baking experience
* Journeyman baking certificate
Must be available night and early morning shifts
