The position
Were currently looking for a Financial Advisor to join our team! If you want to make a differenceand we mean really make a difference helping our members reach their financial goals, then this job is for you.
How youll spend your time
using your natural conversationalist skills to understand member needs and to provide financial solutions like opening accounts, consumer investing and lending products
checking in with members to uncover any needs and goals that improve their financial well-being
advising on and supporting members financial wellness as they journey through life
proactively seeking, recognizing and responding to opportunities to develop our existing and prospective member base by networking and following up on referrals to grow your professional portfolio
Who were looking for
someone who thinks of themselves as a bit of a personal finance nerd is willing to study and master our 9 financial health indicators for our members
a natural conversationalist someone who is intensely curious, is emotionally intelligent, develops trust and creates deep connections through conversations
an individual who is a successful blend of the characteristics in the two points above... who can combine their personal finance knowledge (IQ) with great conversations (EI) in a way that works for our members
a proactive thinker who has experience in retail banking, consumer lending and investing
someone who possesses a relevant mix of training which may include:
Registered Retirement Consultant designation
lending and mortgage courses
completion of the Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities course and subsequent ability to be licensed
