Description

Job Specifics
District Brewing Company is looking for an experienced cellar person and canning line operator. This position at District Brewing Co. includes working within  packaging, and maintenance area of the brewery.

As part of the brewing team you will work with the Production Manager, and general manager to develop and achieve our company goals. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities
- Leading packaging runs on our Cask Canning Line
- Ensuring product is packaged carefully, gently and with strict guidelines (proper fill heights, seaming standards, etc.)
- Extensive maintenance and sanitation of the canning line
- Troubleshooting issues with the canning line on the fly
- Operating labeling machine and other equipment at the brewery
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Precise record keeping of packaged products and packaging materials

Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Prior experience on Cask canning line or other similar line is preferred
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a professional, calm attitude
A meticulous attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure
Ability to work long and varied hours on your feet
Ability to laugh at yourself
