The Successful applicant will:
-Ensure a clean and sanitary environment in assigned areas, such as lunchrooms, washrooms, office spaces, etc.;
-Disinfecting and sanitizing washrooms and lunchrooms;
-Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
-Monitoring and organizing the inventory of cleaning supplies and paper sanitary products;
-Ensuring vending machines and eye wash stations are functioning properly;
-Washing walls, windows, baseboards, frames, railings, etc.;
-Other cleaning duties as required
Qualifications:
-Previous experience and/or training in janitorial work are an asset
-Attention to detail
-Ability to perform all work in a safe manner
-Ability to follow established procedures
-Ability to manage work schedule and prioritize tasks
