The Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of child family prevention services. He/she coordinates and delivers community cultural and educational programs in all areas of Indian Child and Family Services. He/she assists in the development of Family and Child care plans as required, make formal presentations suitable to the audience, research. compile and analyze information, write detailed reports to make recommendations regarding children's rights and services. An independent thinker who can exercise sound judgement and work in an environment that requires strict confidentiality and work independently with community resources in a fast-paced environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate in Social Work or 5 years of experience in the field
- Must have a valid Sask driver's license with no restrictions, a dependable vehicle
- Knowledge of Cree Language, culture and traditions would be an asset
- Must be computer literate
- Work in a Team environment, be dependable, and responsible
- Live an addictions free lifestyle
- Possess superior interpersonal and case management skills
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Knowledge in addictions, domestic and family violence
