Description

Brandt Developments is looking for a Project Architect with regional experience in the architectural consulting industry to join our interdisciplinary design team.

Brandt Developments Ltd. is a community-oriented real estate developer with the financial resources and proven expertise to design, build and manage efficient, environmentally considerate and technologically advanced commercial business accommodation.

Our dedicated building design group provides solutions for the Brandt Group of Companies across Canada and is servicing local commercial, corporate and industrial clients. Our integrated design team, which includes architects, interior designers, mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineers work on a large variety of projects with focus on operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

As Project Architect you will be coordinating projects and project teams with minimal supervision from project initiation through design development, construction documents preparation, and construction administration. You will be managing internal client relationships and team communication, coordinate with other disciplines, and review project drawings for quality and consistency. Working knowledge in REVIT is a must, knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop will be an asset.  

As Project Architect you will be a Registered Architect in a Canadian Jurisdiction and have at least 8 years of experience in the production of contract and detailed design documents and specifications, and have lead the contract administration of multiple projects. The design and coordination of detailed envelope solutions to meet all regulatory requirements and in depth knowledge of the building code are essential to your role. You collaborate well with projects teams through all design stages, offer solutions to challenges, and have excellent communication skills in English.
