The Village at Stonebridge is seeking a motivated and customer service oriented individual to supervise the front end of the kitchen.  Working closely with the Village Chef, the Guest Service Manager will coordinate the service of all our dishes,  including in the independent living dining room, our Village Bistro which is open 11:00AM to 8:00PM to the public and our special catering events.

The Guest Service Manager is responsible for supervision, budgeting, inventory and quality control. Under limited supervision, the Guest Service Manager is also responsible for the hiring, orientation, scheduling, direction, supervision, evaluation and discipline of the servers and front house staff within the dining room and Village Bistro. Evenings and weekends are required. The Guest Service Manager will be considered the Manager on Duty during the weekends.

The Applicants:
Applicants would typically qualify for this position with a grade 12 education, serve it right certificate and  previous experience in a supervisory role.   Applicants must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.  The successful applicant will be able to work independently, foster excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions. Applicants must feel comfortable working with seniors.
