Description

The First Nations and Mtis Relations Unit of the Ministry of Government Relations is seeking a proven highly motivated, results-oriented individual to provide senior analytical policy research and support and leadership required to develop and implement effective policies and programs impacting First Nations and Mtis people.  The Senior Policy Analyst is required to work collaboratively with other provincial ministries and agencies as well as with First Nations and Mtis communities and other governments.

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will part of a small team dedicated to achieving excellence in public policy development and related decision-making and planning processes as they relate to First Nation and Mtis initiatives.  You will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of First Nations and Mtis people, their cultures, communities, political structures and processes and issues at the local, regional, provincial and national levels.
