The Ministry is currently seeking a dynamic strategic leader for the position of the Executive Director, Acute and Emergency Services.   Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the successful applicant will:
Provide strategic policy direction, service and accountability expectations, program monitoring and evaluation, fiscal management and issues leadership;
Lead and direct the activities of a professional and dedicated team in areas including hospitals and specialized acute services, emergency medical services, cancer care, patient safety and critical incident reviews;
Develop and administer legislation, policies and procedures in alignment with governments strategic priorities and direction; and
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key system partners and stakeholders, other ministries, and governments.
