David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Production Planner based in Saskatoon.

The Role:

As a Manufacturing Production Planner working directly with the Plant Manager, you will develop and manage the detailed production schedule for the business. In this fast-paced role, you will be the glue holding sales, customer service, purchasing and manufacturing teams together. As a Production Planner, you will coordinate work activities, monitor production progress, identify and communicate challenges and collaborate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate:
Mechanical aptitude is required with a preference for candidates who have post-secondary education in a technical field.
3+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment in a planning capacity.
Must be comfortable on the shop floor, dealing directly with the floor staff.
Excellent leadership, communication and facilitation skills.
Detail orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Strong planning/scheduling and organizational skills.
Competency with MS Office products, exceptional excel skills.
Lean manufacturing experience a benefit.
Knowledge of CAD and CAE
