This position will be responsible for all aspects of Project Management for various projects at Spectrum from early planning & development to final execution.The Project Manager oversees the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied.
Roles and responsibilities:
-The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis of the projects undertaken
-Responsible for planning the project in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards
-Ensure the project successfully acquires the Design Registration.
-Ensures that appropriate resources are in place to properly facilitate the project start-up and deliver commissioning support.
-Prioritize, schedule and facilitate multiple tasks related to projects
-Independently identify and mitigate project risks and schedule impacts, providing proactive communication, preventive direction and recovery planning.
-Revises the project plan appropriately to meet changing needs and requirements
-Maintain the project budget for delivering the project within the budget defined
-Provide project status reports - weekly and monthly progress reports
-Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
-Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
Requirements
Min Qualification: Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (P Eng preferred)
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years
Previous Project Manager experience will be an asset. Candidate must have a proven record of successfully completing projects on schedule and within budget.
Must be very flexible, able to learn independently with excellent communication skills
