The Saskatoon Housing Authority has a full time building manager employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for high standard of repair, cleanliness & maintenance of the property. You will be required to deal directly and respectfully with tenants, staff and contractors.
DUTIES:
. Keep the building, grounds, sidewalks & parking lots clean and safe (includes snow removal)
. Show units to new & potentially new tenants
. Assist in vacancy preparation by monitoring contractors
. Perform annual maintenance inspections on all units
. Perform move in/move out inspections
. Provide orientation for new tenants
. Perform minor repairs, as required
. Must have your own tools
. Maintain positive public relations with tenants, contractors, SHA staff & the public
QUALIFICATIONS
. Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
. up to 2 years experience in general maintenance & cleaning
. ability to communicate effectively; written and verbal
. integrity & strong work ethics are highly valued
The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal background check & pass a minimal work related fitness test (professionally administered). This position enjoys an annual salary & an excellent benefits package.
