Position: Part Time Meat Clerk I
Location: Nipawin Food Store / Meat Department
Function:
To demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude; to be dependable for all scheduled shifts
To provide outstanding, courteous customer service in person and on the telephone
To assist customers with item selection
To prepare, wrap, price, receive and stock product as required and as assigned; to operate equipment as required
To maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards
To provide proper maintenance of equipment and clean equipment regularly
To be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the Co-operative and Government Legislation
To advise the supervisor when orders for replenishment of inventory are required
To be familiar with and adhere to all
Opportunity to participate in intensive in-store meat cutting training program for interested and qualified candidates
Pineland Co-op Policies and Procedures
To perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Grade 12 preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, versatility and flexibility are required; must be able to work unsupervised
Previous food preparation experience would be an asset
Applicants must be able to work a weekend rotation
