Description

Assess the crews readiness for their role at the onset of each shift.
Assign work tasks to the crew
Ensure personnel are aware and performing up to Safety Expectations.
Ensure workers have received proper training
Coordinate Manpower
Coordinate 3rd party contractors
Demonstrate the ability to read engineered drawings and specs.
Ensure personnel are working towards the schedule
Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure inspection and test plans are followed.
Ensure that all tools and equipment being used have been inspected and are in good repair
Inform Management of any out of scope work
Mentor personnel
Provide Front Line supervision up to 20 crew members
Report daily progress
Fill out daily time sheets
Work site inspections monitoring safety and quality of work

SAFETY
Valid First Aid & H2S
Valid Driver's License (5G Minimum)
Attend safety meetings capture and report any crew safety concerns
Attend/Lead morning tool box talks.
Ensure Pre-Job Hazard analysis is completed on the work being planned
Demonstrate Safety Leadership qualities.
Participate in Behaviour Observation program
Ensure all Pre-Job Task Assessments are reviewed at the morning Tool Box Meeting
Ensure all personnel know the location of all assembly or evacuation points.
Ensure protocol is followed regarding incident reporting and reviews.
Ensure crews are provided the proper PPE.
Maintain a clean work area and facility
Ability to work in both an office environment and field environments.

Appropriate computer skills  Word, Excel, Outlook
Good working knowledge of all the construction disciplines.
