This Youth Worker position is a 1 year term and involves over-night shifts (sleep is permitted).
The successful candidate will support youth in our home, JP's Place, in a manner that supports growth for youth, and harmony in the home. The Youth Worker will:
- Possess strong relationship skills with youth
- Have experience with assessment, case planning and action plans
- Ability to identify problems and seek solutions
- Life skills training and experience
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with advocating for youth
- Possess First Aid, CPR, Safe Places Certified and ASSIST Training
- Possess Valid Driver License
- Provide Criminal Record
