We are looking for an experienced member to add to our team. This opportunity would entail working for a private company in Saskatoon. Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Our bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining balanced accounts, including invoicing, data entry, and payment processing.
Assist in payroll and bill processing, completing GST and PST returns and posting journal entries.
Reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balance of books as well as maintain general ledgers. Monthly bank reconciliation and prepare bank deposits.
Calculate and prepare cheques for utilities and other accounts. General administrative duties.

Education:
College / other non-university or diploma of certificate from a program of 1 year to 2 years duration, or equivalent experience.
Job Qualifications Education and Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates that have an accounting diploma or certificate from a recognized institute
3 to 5 years working in an accounting environment
Above average knowledge and demonstrated experience with various office software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize & work independently
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve
Provide and maintain a satisfactory criminal record check
Be bondable.
