Description

Glenwood Auto Service has a long history of customer service in Saskatoon, delivering quality auto repair service since 1973.

We are currently looking for an automotive service technician that specializes in general mechanical repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, front end, suspension etc.....)

Duties and Requirements:

Perform diagnosis and repair of domestic, Asian and European vehicles including diesel repairs
Emphasis on heavy mechanical repair such as:
-steering and suspension diagnosis and repair
-drivetrain repair including remove and replace engines, transmission and differentials
-timing belt/chain and vvt repair
-coolant system diagnosis and repair
-diagnosis and repair fluid leaks
-noise diagnosis
Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry
Computer skills with the ability to navigate service information
Supply own tools and have a valid driver's license

Educational Requirements:

Journeyperson Certificate/Red Seal Technician
Would consider a 3rd of 4th year apprentice for the right candidate
Preference given to technicians with European and diesel experience
