Parkland Regional Library requires a replacement branch library clerk for the Churchbridge Branch Library reporting to the Churchbridge Branch Librarian.
the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Input of patron registration;
Creation of Library cards;
Checkin and checkout of library materials;
Placing holds for patrons;
Collects payments and issues receipts;
Customer service duties such as answering phones, assisting patrons in useage of computer equipment;
Readers Advisory;
Shelving materials;
Assists in Library programming
Requirements:
Accuracy and attention to detail;
Knowledge of computer technology;
Effective communication;
Ability to adapt to change;
Grade 12;
Criminal Record check required.
