The successful applicant's duties will include:

1. To prepare, administer and be responsible for the sales, margin, expenses, inventory of department

2. To ensure all staff adhere to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, staff appearance, housekeeping and loss prevention.

3. To ensure acceptable level of service is provided to all internal and external customers,  staff attitude is appropriate and Hassle-Free Guarantee Program is followed and that it aligns and strengthens the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and brand.

4. To ensure proper management of assets and adherence to a maintenance schedule.

5. To ensure adherence to the image checklist as per facilities and equipment.

6. To prepare the annual budget and ensure claims, invoices and all other paper work is
done timely, accurately and meets policy and procedure.
    
7.  To ensure adherence to loss prevention policies.

8. To ensure the proper recruitment procedures are followed.

9. To implement and enforce written performance expectations and standards.

10. To be responsible for developing a yearly staff training plan and ensuring that it is followed.

11. To hold regular staff meetings and to ensure all staff receive required reviews.

12. To be responsible for the adherence and enforcement of Southern Plains Co-ops policies and procedures.

13. To ensure self development is planned for and the initiative is taken to improve knowledge, skills or attitude.

14. To adhere to the safety program and all safety rules in place in the department

15. Other duties as assigned.
