Facility: NURSES ALUMNI WING
Job Description: THE INCUMBENT WILL PROVIDE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INCLUDING ASSESSMENT, COUNSELLING AND CO-ORDINATION OF SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING DISTRESS OR DYSFUNCTION RELATED TO MENTAL AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER, TRAUMA, CUMULATIVE STRESS OR PROBLEMS IN LIVING.  THIS POSITION WILL PRIMARILY TARGET CLIENTS WITH COMPLEX NEEDS WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE YOUNG ADULT POPULATION AGED 18-25. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE WORKING WITH CLIENTS ON A DROP IN BASIS AS WELL AS SOME COMMUNITY WORK.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
1 YEAR OF SUPERVISED CLINICAL COUNSELLING EXPERIENCE IN A MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTIONS PROGRAM REQUIRED.

Advanced organizational skills
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Advanced assessment skills
Advanced counseling skills
Advanced facilitation skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
