Description

James Group of Pharmacies is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Permanent Pharmacist starting immediately.  No Sunday, evening or holiday shifts, and approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays.  The majority of work will be in Lanigan Pharmacy, with occasional shifts in Nokomis Pharmacy.  We are a forward thinking, progressive pharmacy with Nursing home involvement and expanded Pharmacy services.  We are located in the town of Lanigan Saskatchewan, only 70 minutes from Saskatoon, and Nokomis, 20 minutes south of Lanigan.

Duties include those of a typical Pharmacist working independently or with another staff pharmacist along with front store staff/pharmacy clerks. The responsibilities include but are not limited to typical pharmacist duties as per Saskatchewan regulatory guidelines, including minor ailments prescribing, blister packing for nursing homes and compliance packaging (SMAP assessments) for home care and ambulatory clients. Ensuring proper billing of services and following up on accounts to ensure they are being paid in a timely manor.  A high level of customer service is expected.

Job requirements: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, License or ability to become licensed by Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists, Proficiency with English language, Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Salary: Competitive wages including: Health and Dental benefits, Paid Licensure fees and continuing education, 3 weeks paid holidays annually with great flexibility for more days off.
