Duties: Reporting to the Corporate Relations Manager, the Administrative Services Lead is responsible for providing oversight and leadership of the entire range of CLSI facility administrative systems. The primary focus will be on integration and streamlining facility wide administrative processes and supervision of staff. Acts as a leader to the employees of the Administrative Services group to ensure success of the staff and its operations by providing coaching and mentoring. Plans and identifies actions required to align administrative functions across the organization in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business, office administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years related experience, most recently in a supervisory role in a unionized environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to research, analyze information and make recommendations based on best practice.
- Effective organizational, analytical and time management skills are essential for being self-directed, working independently under pressure, and exercising good judgment.
- Proficiency in using computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are required. Experience with other administrative software and database management systems is an asset.
