Description

The STC Urban AHS Bus Driver/Program Assistant in Saskatoon supports the Teacher in the delivery of our Preschool Program (Growing Spirits). The Bus Driver/Program Assistant will support the Teacher in the delivery of the preschool program following the guidelines and principles of Aboriginal Head Start; aide in the development and delivery of the curriculum; transport children to and from preschool; aid the teacher in maintaining statistics on attendance, enrollment and reasons for non-enrolment; and work directly with the children each day.The AHS Bus Driver/Program Assistant must possess a Class 4 Drivers License.

The Bus Driver/Program Assistant will follow the Saskatoon Tribal Council Personnel and Financial Policies Manual.
Qualifications:
1.    Must possess a Saskatchewan valid Class 4 drivers license and meet STC's insurance requirements;
2.    ECE Orientation required, ECE Certificate preferred;
3.    Knowledge of First Nations and Mtis Culture and the ability to speak an Aboriginal language will be a definite asset;
