Facility: MENTAL HEALTH - SHR
Job Description: Reporting to the Clinical Team Manager of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Sunrise Health Region, as well as the clinical lead for adult mental health, the incumbent will participate as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team. The Social Worker BSW within the Mental Health and Addictions Services (MH&AS) team provides assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, youth, families, adults and seniors, with the primary objective to support and strengthen social functioning. This is done through collaboration with the client and/or family, the Mental Health and Addiction Services Interdisciplinary Tema and other service providers within Sunrise Health Region and communities.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Mental experience working with children, youth, families, adults and seniors in a cross cultural mental health and addictions setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to accept and implement change
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Understanding of quality improvement theory and methodologies
Ability to work under stress
Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act and other legislation relevant to the provision of Mental Health services (i.e. Family Services Act)
Knowledge of community resources in the addictions field
Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and judgement and ethica
