Muskoday First Nation Community School (MFNCS)

Is looking for a Grade 5 Teacher and a Grade 8/9 Teacher


Muskoday First Nation is approximately 15 minutes east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.        
We believe Education is an inherent and a treaty right. We develop a learning process that incorporates the Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Physical well being of each individual. This school is dedicated to all the people of Muskoday. It is in honor of all past, present and future Elders, Veterans, and People of our community, and for all those that will join us in the Future. MFNCS is from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Nine.

Teacher Qualifications are as listed:
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
Be a certified teacher
Be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A
Have excellent classroom management skills and ability in utilizing positive classroom/ behavior management strategies with a nurturing environment
Be willing to include Muskoday Cree Language & Culture in classroom activities
Have respect for and a working knowledge of Canadas First Nations and be willing to implement First Nations Culture, Values and History into the curriculum
Have high standards and expectations for achievement, especially in the areas of literacy and numeracy
Accommodate and include special needs children by adjusting teaching styles and curriculum as required for inclusion (differentiated instruction)
