Central Office North Battleford
Speech & Language Pathologist temporary, part time (.40 FTE), schedule to be determined, commencing as soon as possible to June 28, 2019. Join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, which includes 5 Speech & Language Pathologists, to enhance the communication, social and educational functioning of students across the school division.
The successful candidate will be able to:
*Implement and support the Response to Intervention Service Delivery Model
*Provide screening, assessment, and consultation and write comprehensive reports
*Provide support to Student Services and classroom teachers in programming for their students
*Provide support to designated educational support staff in the delivery of communication programs
*Provide workshops and in-services as needed
Applicants must possess a Masters Degree in Speech & Language Pathology and be eligible for membership in SASLPA and CASLPA. Experience working with children and youth in an educational setting would be an asset, as well as an aptitude towards working with Assistive Technology. This position involves travel to schools within the school division and a valid drivers license and dependable vehicle is required.
