Description

Team Power Solutions is a rapidly growing engineering, technical services and manufacturing company which provides electrical and instrumentation project expertise for major governmental, commercial and industrial clients.
Team Power Solutions is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer as a pivotal member of the engineering team. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Supervisor and will be expected to contribute a high level of leadership, experience, energy & uncompromising attention to Quality & Innovation within all aspects of their work.
The Intermediate Electrical Engineer is responsible for:
Initiate & execute electrical power systems studies & calculations such as system modeling, flow studies, device protection & coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis
Prepare technical reports, client correspondence, presentations  
Prepare detailed specifications and contract documents
Perform engineering design, including power system infrastructure  
Preparing capital cost estimates  
Product development suggestions & guidance including input on continuous improvement meetings  
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
Registered as a Professional Engineer in the province of Saskatchewan  
5 to 15 years of relevant experience      
Must be punctual, self-motivated, capable of working on multiple projects with minimal supervision
self-starter with analytical reasoning and creative abilities                  
Ability to work well in shop environment, i.e. experience with various hand tools an asset
Managing/ Mentoring junior employees                    
Ensure Electrical systems meet technical specifications
Extensive experience with power system modeling & analysis software (ESA, SKM, ETAP)
