IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Wendy Wilson, Coordinator
DUTIES:
This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Power Engineering program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams. Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance the learning experience.
COURSES: ENGP 187 Power Lab 2 and ENGP 188 Plant Operations.(Please Note this position may be filled by more than one applicant. Please express your interest in one or more courses.)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is Grade 12 or equivalent along with a 3rd Class Power Engineering Inter-Provincial Certificate.
The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is a minimum of two years recent and relevant 3rd Class operating experience in the Power Engineering field.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.
Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
