The Vice President, Corporate Services of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is a unique opportunity to provide collaborative leadership in enhancing patient and family centered standards and partnerships in the delivery of cancer programs and services. In partnership with senior leaders and operating in a complex and dynamic health care environment, the successful candidate is an innovative, collaborative and transformational leader with deep commitment to high quality health services.
Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President provides strategic direction to a diverse portfolio of corporate departments, which includes Human Resources, Finance, Information Management, Materials and Facilities, Organizational Development, Public Affairs and General Counsel.
You are a strategic leader who:
Has extensive and relevant experience in a senior leadership role with a proven track record of success in a complex, dynamic organization.
10+ years in management/administration, with at least 5 of those years as a Senior Executive in a health care environment
Holds a minimum Masters-level preparation in Health/Public/Business Administration, Medical Degree, Health Professional and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
Holds a Lean or Lean Improvements Leaders Training (LILT) certification
Has extensive knowledge of the health care system in Saskatchewan and across Canada, Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation is considered an asset
Is a proven strategic leader who clearly communicates mission, vision and strategy and charts path forward
Mobilizes people, inspiring and setting the example for staff and physicians as well as other health care stakeholders
Promotes innovation, guides change and is committed to continuous improvement
Is committed to delivering on patient and family centred care
Demonstrates a commitment to a diverse, culturally competent and culturally safe work environment and a representative workforce
