JOB TITLE: RN Relief Float
LOCATION: Prince Albert Co-operative Health Centre
STATUS: Temporary Part Time Relief Float (30 hrs/week) w possibility of extension to 4:30 pm.
PAY GRADE: As per CUPE Local 3963 - In Scope
($33.83 $43.92)
HOURS AND DAYS
OF WORK: Mon-Fri: 8:00-3:00 (part time position 0.80 FTE 30 hours/ week w 1 hour lunch 11-12 pm)
PROBABLE DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: January 2019
SUMMARY: Primary Role: Provide same day relief coverage for Lab, Nursing, Primary Health Care Nurse and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the Registered Nurse functions as a clinical practitioner assisting patients with health care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and adheres to applicable licensing and best standards and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
Current CPR Certification
KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Intermediate computer skills
Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Valid drivers license, where required by the job
Phlebotomy, ECG and lab sample collection training preferred, however training is available.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience is an asset.
