As part of the management team, you manage all aspects of the John Deere parts operations and personnel at the Avonlea location to provide the highest level of internal and external customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory and expense control.
You will:
Communicate, enforce and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and department efficiencies.
Identify and order parts using manufacturers systems
Monitor department performance and annual budget relative to the organizations objectives.
Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or physical inventory and proper count procedures.
Effectively engage, motivate and inspire department personnel.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience working a Parts counter in an Agriculture setting preferred but will consider other industries for the right applicant
Understanding of financial principles relative to ag dealership operations and able to analyze and interpret financial data
Knowledgeable of marketing principles with a strong customer focus
Able to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
Experience leading. motivating and inspiring others
Technologically savvy
Certificate in Parts Management a definite asset but not required
