YPH is looking for a strong leader with an extensive financial background to join our team. This is a face paced, intense environment. Candidate must be dedicated and motivated to produce results.
YPH is a mechanical company, knowledge of the construction trade is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Responsible for cash management and financial risk management
Maintain company insurance records
Timely management of accounts payable
Reconcile bank and investment accounts
Maintain the chart of accounts
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and other appropriate reports
Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
Calculation and submission of all statutory requirement, such as, but not limited to: CPP, EI, Income Tax, GST
Prepare supporting information for the annual review with an approved external accountant
Develop and maintain financial accounting processes for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash
Review daily, weekly and monthly results and implement variance reporting as compared to budget
Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
Assist the Management Team and President with financial reporting as required and provide financial advice and support
Expectations:
University Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Management/Administration
Must have 2 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Must have Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA)
High attention to detail
