Viterra is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of an Agribusiness Associate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within and gain valuable knowledge in each of the following areas: Merchandising, Rail Logistics, Trade Execution and Truck Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding and learn to deal and assess risk in each of these areas.
Opportunity to learn and develop an understanding of Viterras marketing strategies.
Work closely with various contract and trade terms and develop an understanding of these terms, while participating and assisting in executing shipments.
Opportunity to learn and understand inventory management and how that translates to profitability.

The Ideal Candidate:
Has the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers in a diverse industry.
Achievement and goal focused  
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Education and Qualifications:
University degree in Agriculture, Commerce or Business Administration.
Knowledgeable in MS office and experience navigating in different computer software programs.
Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry would be considered an asset.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
