POSITION TITLE: Instructor, Heavy Equipment Truck and Transport Technician (HETT)
CLASSIFICATION: Instructor
SALARY: As per Collective Agreement    
LOCATION: Yorkton, SK



DUTIES:

This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Heavy Equipment Truck Transport (HETT) Certificate program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams.  Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance students learning experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

The minimum educational qualification for this position is Grade 12 or equivalent and a Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician and/or Truck and Transport Mechanical trade.

The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is a minimum of two years, within the last five years of combined recent and relevant post-Journeyperson experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.

Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
