Hawk's Agro a division of JGL group, is a proud locally owned and operated independent agriculture retailer, based in five locations through out South Western Saskatchewan. We are seeking a sales person for our new Sales Representative- position in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the agriculture industry, as they will have primary contact with growers to promote and consult a vast variety of products and services that are provided by our company.
As a Sales Representative at Hawk's Agro, you will work with location staff and build relationships directly with growers to maximize their business operations.
Reporting directly to the General Manager the ideal candidate's duties would include:
Selling seed, fertilizer and crop protection products to new and existing customers
Identify agronomic needs and help customers make good crop input decisions
Prospecting customers, building customer relationships and closing sales.
Provide basic crop input recommendations to customers
Be the primary contact for customers and manage each customer account
Ensuring outstanding customer service and proactively engage customers in discussing their crop input needs
Working with the sales and administration team to manage credit and collection program.
Performing all duties involved in operating an independent retail location
Leading and engage the location team on a daily basis
Conducting regular plant inspections and holding monthly safety meetings
Working to ensure that daily operational activities are conducted safely, efficiently and profitably
Ensuring proactive maintenance of facilities to ensure safe working environment
Retail auditing and inventory management
