Description

Cross Borders is a progressive Exploration Drilling Company looking to fill a Driller's Helper position on Auger Rigs. Work is primarily in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Candidates must possess the following valid tickets:

- H2S Alive
- CSTS 09 or PST
- Standard First Aid & CPR

You MUST also hold a valid driver's license.  Class 1A or 3A would be an asset.

Tasks & Responsibilities include:
- Lifting 75+ lbs routinely
- Understand how to connect augers
- Clean augers
- Shove cuttings away from hole
- Set-up no go zone and muster points
- Finding all grease nipples and grease rig
- Fuel up rig
- Ensure tools are clean and organized
- Assist driller on repairs
- Drive a Truck pulling a trailer and maneuver backing up
- Know how to use various hand tools, and understand the proper tool for the job
- Check oil on various vehicles
- Operate a skidsteer
- Teamwork and good communication with co-workers

 - Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs and service equipment
 - Assist other workers to maintain drilling equipment on drill floor
