The main responsibility is to ensure the security of passengers and non-passengers processed at Pre-Board Screening Checkpoints
Using screening equipment, you are responsible for screening passengers, non-passengers and their baggage prior to their entry into the secure area and boarding of the aircraft
It is important to ensure that the screening of passengers is completed efficiently and pleasantly
You are an ambassador for customer service and interact with passengers and stakeholders alike in a professional manner
You assist in maintaining the flow of passengers to influence efficiency
Job Benefits
Starting wage once certified to work independently: $ 21.13 per hour
Wage during the training process: $ 18.73 per hour

Job Requirements
Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident as defined in the Immigration Act with an employment authorization document
No previous criminal background for which a pardon has not been granted
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to pass an enhanced security background check
Ability to pass a medical exam
Be able to identify colour, shapes, forms and features (e.g. X-ray images)
Have flexibility of motion including: moderate lifting, pulling or pushing of bags/items weighing up to 10kg
ability to: stand and/or sit for extended periods of time (20 minutes - 2 hours), bend, squat or kneel to perform searches, reach above/below and level of shoulder
Must be available to work shifts that cover all operational hours, up to 24/7, including weekends and statutory holidays
Have own transportation or access to public transit and access to reliable transportation outside of public transportation hours
Required Experience
One (1) year experience minimum in Customer Service is required
Must have excellent communication skills; fluent in written and oral, both in English and French
