Butterfield Forklift is seeking a business-oriented sales professional to represent Butterfield Forklift and their forklift lines in Saskatchewan and Western Canada.

The successful individual will possess formal education, sales education and experience, and have a sales and marketing focus. Experience in sales is a major asset to the role.

This position will be responsible to initiate contact with new and existing customers and provide product information and conduct formal sales meetings with executive level clients. He or she will also be responsible to provide accurate and detailed quotes to clients and fulfill sales including follow-up and relationship management and reporting.   In addition to sales, this position will also be responsible for facilitating the rental division.

The successful candidate will be provided with comprehensive product training and will work closely with  management to develop skills required to succeed in this role. Applicants must be outgoing, a quick learner, willing to overcome sales objections, and be comfortable speaking in front of all levels of clients.  The ability to listen and understand client needs is essential to success in this role. In addition to sales, this position will also be involved with marketing, branding and promoting this forklift line to consumers. The position will be responsible to grow the sales department and ultimately play a part in growing the sales team.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary plus commission and will be further negotiated at time of offer. Some travel will be required and typical hours would be 8  5 Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must possess a valid drivers license.
