The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional information on all aspects of Feed and Animal Health to local area ranchers/farmers. You will develop a marketing program for both feed and animal supplies, procure quality product at competitive prices, receiving, merchandising, inventory control, coordinating logistics and centralizing the sales and deliveries to all Pioneer Co-op branches. ions. Will assist Agronomy Division Manager with budgeting, resolution of product complaints, develop and administer a ranch/farm contact program with present and perspective customers, arrange informational meetings for consumers and provide information and newsletters. Will follow government legislation and regulations pertaining to the sale of Feed/Animal Health products and ensure training of clerks on policy and procedure in the area of feed/animal health.
Applicant must have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture and good knowledge of the Feed and Animal industry. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills while working in a team environment.
